One problem solved, another created
Much like myself, our house is old and wonky. So much so that the drawer on my Billy bookcase refuses to stay closed because the floorboards gently slope downwards. A nightmare aesthetically, a disaster when you have a pair of furry terrorists who will take any and all opportunities to get to cat Narnia.
This is how the drawer usually looks, if I don't wedge something in front of it but as it's at the side of my bed, the odds of me tripping over the wedged thing are high.
So, potentially ruining my algorithmic shopping experience as a childfree cat lady forever, I purchased a set of child safety locks that through the magic of Command Strips, should keep the drawer closed. Like so:

Unfortunately, this has created somewhat of an attractive nuisance (that honestly would be the name of Myshka's memoirs) and we're going to see if "child proof" also equals "cat proof" 😂

Worst case scenario, the locks came in a pack of ten, so hopefully he'll get bored of them before I run out of replacements!
Also, I didn't intend for this to become a "life with cats" blog but it's sure heading that way 🤣
