Chaos, organised.
So, we have two Ragdoll cats, Ciri and Myshka. They both eat two pouches of wet food (along with their kitty kibble) a day and absolutely will not eat the same thing for both meals.

(I'm leaving myself a reminder here to edit the formatting of the photos later, when I'm at my PC and not just noodling on my phone)
We buy their wet food in bulk every month because who wants to pay shipping more than once? Not me. The wet food pouches come in four large boxes, which are each split into a further four boxes that hold one of each of the six individual flavours.
Are you with me so far? That's a lot of box.
When they were on kitten food (all one flavour) it was easy to store together in one big tub because we didn't have to worry about grabbing two of the same pouches and then making sure we grabbed a different pair later in the day for their dinner. I'd try to keep them organised in pairs but it was a nightmare and more often than not, I'd end up grabbing two different packets, only realising once I'd opened them and then trying to weigh out equal portions of both into the same kitty bowls. All before morning coffee too, which is criminal honestly.
I've been trying to think of a solution and well, this one isn't pretty and it has generated an absolute mountain of cardboard (the recycling bin will feast well tonight) but I think this is going to work:

One drawer for each flavour, the tower holds enough food for the month and it fits under the kitchen worktop, next to the giant tub their kibble is stored in. Much better than having about a week's worth of food tossed in a little tub and the rest of the boxes scattered around the house because this place is tiny and short on storage 😅
I might make some little dividers for the inside of the drawers eventually but for now, this feels like £15 well spent.
Now to tackle all that cardboard...
